• Verification data — one-time codes and related status when we confirm a phone number or email
• Community and event data — RSVPs, attendance, intro requests, and similar activity
• Careers data — job listings you post, and applications you submit (including contact details, location, and resumes or other files)
• Communications — messages you send us and emails or texts we send you
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location, and usage logs

We collect information directly from you, automatically when you use the Services, and from service providers that help us operate (for example SMS, email, hosting, and file storage).

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
• Create and secure accounts, including sending verification codes
• Operate events, the member directory, and the careers board
• Deliver applications and listing notices to the relevant parties
• Communicate with you about the Services
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service

We may share information:

• With listing posters and their organizations when you apply to a role, or with applicants as needed to operate applications
• With members or hosts as needed for intros, events, or directory features you use
• With vendors who process data for us (hosting, SMS, email, storage, analytics), under obligations to protect it
• If required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the Services
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction
• With your direction or consent

We do not sell your personal information.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type. You may request deletion as described below, subject to those needs.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may update certain account details in the Services. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. We may decline requests that are unfounded, excessive, or that we are not required to honor.

You can opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails. We may still send transactional messages (for example verification codes or application notices).

We are based in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
